Minka
Our Feline Survivor
Minka joined the Aldor family in 2010 when she started showing up outside our building as a stray. As she regularly interacted with Dr. Pfaenders infant son, we decided to treat her for parasites and do a full physical exam. It was determined that she was either pregnant or soon to have kittens.
A day or two later she ended up bringing us two small kittens. We kept her and the kittens inside, saw to everyone’s medical needs then found the kittens good homes with clients. After that we spayed Minka and installed cat doors to our clinic to allow her the freedom to come and go as she pleased. Lucky for us she has decided to stay with us for all these years. She now is kept inside each night and is enjoying her freedom to choose from the many warm comfy beds we offer. She is a very loved member of our family.

Monkey
The Braveheart Kitten
Monkey joined us in 2024. As a kitten Monkey was born with a defect called microphthalmia. This resulted in blindness due to tiny, deformed eyes. Most often the eyes will need lifelong treatment or need to be removed as they become enlarged and painful. Happily, the breeder ended up entrusting us with this little guys care and needs. Monkey has become a professional greeter and emotional support kitty to both staff and clients alike! You can follow along on his adventures by watching his Instagram account – Monkeykey2024
